What is Arise?
Arise is a FREE event for women who love Jesus to come together for worship, praise, prayer and teaching. During breaks, guests are encouraged to fellowship with one another. It’s a day to fill your cup with other sisters in Christ! Come and be filled!
When is Arise?
Friday, Sept 26, 6:00pm – 9:00pm & Saturday, Sept 27, 9:00am – 3:00pm at One Life Church located at 211 S. 23rd Street, Plattsmouth, NE 68048.
Do I need a ticket?
You do NOT need a ticket to attend the Arise event! Arise is FREE and open to any woman desiring more of Jesus and fellowship with other women!
Is Arise the same every year?
No. Each year has a unique theme. This year’s theme is COME TO THE TABLE.
What happens at Arise?
Women who love Jesus come together for worship and praise. In between listening to messages from our speakers, attendees are encouraged to visit with one another. Arise is about connection: connecting with the Father and with other sisters in Christ.
What do I need to bring?
Guests are encouraged to bring a Bible and maybe a notepad or journal. Guests are also encouraged to bring their own lunch (and other snacks & drinks).
Is lunch provided?
We are asking women to bring a side dish or dessert to share on Saturday, if they can. Thanks to a generous donor, pulled pork sandwiches will be provided!
Will there be coffee?
YES! Coffee will be provided, as well as some light refreshments on Friday evening and Saturday morning.
What should I wear?
This is a casual event – wear what makes you feel comfortable.
Can I bring my children?
Arise is meant to be a place where women can get away with God and other women to enjoy a day undistracted. For this reason, we ask that you make other arrangements for younger children so you, too, mama, can have a day to recharge!
